USES/FUNCTION: EPROM can be used for Erasing the contents of ROM An EPROM can also found in the making of the video game. EPROM is used in computer BIOS in order to store a bootloader. It can retrieve stored data after a power supply has been turned off. PICTURES: INTERESTING FACTS: EPROMs are cleared by shining ultraviolet light on the clear opening on their top. Some EPROMs can be cleared using only electricity. EPROMs are generally employed for programs designed for repeated use .
